DISCOUNTS, DJs, and pop-up bars will be staged at the Westgate for its first ever student night.

The shopping centre is putting on a host of activities and deals for students to get stuck into on September 27.

The event will boats more than 30 exclusive student savings and offers from brands including Levi’s, The Body Shop, Dirty Bones and more.

It will also have a host of pop-up bars set up throughout the centre, DJs in the Westgate Social and Leiden Square.

A number of hair and beauty masterclasses will also be put on for students to learn the tricks of the trade and various opportunities to win prizes and free games including spin-the-wheel, quizzes and performances.

Westgate general manager Brendan Hattam said: “We’re so excited to host our first student night, and our brands have some amazing offers lined up – from buy-one-get-one-free at Boost to free golf at Junkyard Golf Club.

“The best way to be the first to find out about our discounts and freebies is to register in advance, which we encourage attendees to do at our website.”

Students will need to bring along their valid student cards to be able to get a wristband for the various exclusive savings.

Organisers said these include 20 per cent of shops such as Accessorize, Bobby Brown, and Boux Avenue.

There will also be deals with facials, hair treatments and gym sessions across other stores.

Many of the Westgate restaurants will also be offering meal deals.

Westgate is hosting the event as its first student night after opening last October and is being held as part of the university’s freshers’ week which starts from Sunday, September 30.

The event will be staged at the Westgate on Thursday, September 27, from 6pm to 8pm, for details see westgateoxford.co.uk/student-night-offers
