A NATIONAL animal welfare charity is giving people the chance to meet horses and ponies who are looking for loving new homes.
Blue Cross will swing open the gates of its horse unit at Burford on Saturday in an event running from 12pm to 3.30pm.
The event is open to all the family at the charity’s rehoming centre on Shilton Road.
A dedicated horse team will be offering advice about rehoming a horse from Blue Cross and answering visitors’ questions about the charity’s services, such as Home Direct.
Home Direct sees horses rehomed straight from their former home, rather than through a rehoming centre.
