DRAGONS' Den winners CollaGin will be among the Oxfordshire gin producers showcasing at a new Oxford gin festival next month.

Worsley Gin, Cotswold Distillery, 6’ O’clock Gin and The Oxford Gin Co. will also join the £10 ticket festival – run by The Gin To My Tonic – that almost never was.

The brand will take over the former annual Gin Festival Limited event, which was due to run at Oxford Town Hall on October 5–6 as part of its UK tour, before it went bust.

Alongside the Oxfordshire gins will be 80 other gins exhibiting.

Oxfordshire entrepreneurs Liz Beswick and Camilla Brown won £50,000 investment on Dragons' Den in a programme shown on BBC2 on Sunday night, and have since said they are now trying to keep up with the orders.

City councillor Mary Clarkson said the local ethos lined up well with the council's.

Mrs Clarkson, board member for culture and city centre, said: "What really stood out about The Gin To My Tonic was that by being very environmentally conscious and a local organisation supporting local gin distillers, their values lined up well with our own.

"The events team at Oxford Town Hall looks forward to working with them."
