DEMOLITION crews have moved in on Botley's West Way House this week as work on tearing down the West Way Centre gathers pace.
Pictures taken today show parts of the landmark tower which stood above the old shopping precinct being reduced to rubble.

Preparation work began on the redevelopment in May, two years after planning permission was granted.
The site is being transformed into a new mixed retail and residential complex.
Developer Mace has said while work to demolish the former Tesco Express and West Way House takes place there will be no pedestrian access from Arthray Road to Elms Parade through the western car park, between the hours of 9am and 3pm on weekdays.
The alternative temporary route to West Way will be via Westminster Way.
