Man charged after money stolen from Dorchester Abbey charity box
A MAN has been charged after money went missing for the gift aid box at Dorchester Abbey.
Martin Baynard, 68, from Peppard Road in Emmer Green, Reading, has been charged with four counts of theft.
It comes after cash was taken from the gift box in the Abbey, in Dorchester-on-Thames near Wallingford, between 4pm on July 31 and 6pm on August 28.
He has been bailed to appear before Oxford Magistrates' Court on September 21.
