A MAN is being hunted by police after money was stolen from the gift aid box at Dorchester Abbey.
CCTV images have been released of a man police would like to speak in connection with the theft where someone entered the Abbey on five occasions and stealing the cash.
Thames Valley Police said the theft from the Abbey in Dorchester-on-Thames, near Wallingford, happened between 4pm on Tuesday, July 31, and 6pm on Tuesday, August 28.
Investigating officer PC Thomas Coyne, based at Abingdon police station, said: “I would like to speak to the man pictured in this image, as I believe he may have vital information to assist us in our investigations.
“If you are this person, or if you recognise the person, please contact 101, quoting reference number 43180257227.”
