CAMPAIGNERS fighting to save a popular music venue can count another famous rock star among their supporters.
Chris Shiflett, lead guitarist for American band Foo Fighters, retweeted MuzoAkademy's post about Olly Isley, 7, who has joined the battle to save The Rock Barn, Witney, despite suffering from Leukemia.
Mr Shiflett's tweet to his 38,000 followers read: "Let's get the young man an RT!"
Last month, Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson responded to a request from young musician Oscar Barrett to tweet his support of the venue, which could be demolished in favour of flats.
