A 34-year-old man has been arrested following a mass brawl in a nightclub in Witney.

Several people were involved in the fight inside Rocket Night Club in Corn Street at around 1.30am on Sunday, August 26.

A number of people sustained injuries, according to police.

There are known to be at least two male victims, and Thames Valley Police are appealing to any other potential victims or witnesses to come forward.

Investigating officer PC Lauren Hawkins, of the Investigation Hub based at Witney police station, said: “There was a disorder involving numerous people inside the night club.

“We are looking to ascertain the number of victims and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

“If you were involved in this altercation, were a victim, or witnessed what happened, please contact us on 101, quoting reference number 43180261366.

“It appears as though there were a number of people injured, who have not yet come forward, and so please do so to allow us to investigate this thoroughly.”

The 34-year-old from Witney has been arrested on suspicion of affray and released under investigation.
