DOMINO'S pizza will be among the retailers to move in to the Kingsmere Estate in Bicester.

The fast-food chain is among several names announced today as part of the new village centre opening spring 2019.

Other names announced include Mid-Counties Co-op, Starfish fish and chips shop, Haart Estate Agents, Bicester Hairdressers and the Busy Bees Nursery which currently has a branch in Bure Park.

Lead developer at Kingsmere Countryside Properties said the 'first-class line up' will help to serve the heart of Kingsmere.

Countryside Properties director Andrew Carrington said: "We have taken great care to design a Village Centre that will serve as the ‘heart of Kingsmere’, and we are delighted there will be such a tremendous line up of occupants for the use of our residents and the wider community.

"For a project of this scale, providing first-class amenities and a central point for residents to come together is crucial to its long-term success and vital to ensure the new community can flourish.

“The Village Centre sits centrally within Kingsmere, alongside the community and youth centres and St Edburg’s primary school.

"The selection of retailers will ensure that people can not only stock up on their daily essentials but also spend time socialising, relaxing and making the most of the new facilities and surroundings.”

The village centre is being built on Whitelands Way and includes a youth centre opening September.
