Canal boat moored at lock is raided by thieves

Thieves stole a video camera from a canal boat moored at Isis Lock in Oxford.

Thames Valley Police said the incident happened last Tuesday during the early hours after 1am.

A projector was also stolen after a door was forced open and thieves searched the boat for valuables.

Police officers have been giving security tips to boaters as part of an Oxford Water Safety Group scheme.

Motorbikes stolen after burglars break into garage 

Raiders forced their way into a garage in Oxford before making off with two motorbikes. 

The raiders broke into the garage in Foxwell Drive at 2am last Thursday, causing significant damage to the door. 

Once inside they stole two 125cc off-road motor cross bikes .
Police have not revealed how many thieves they believe were involved in the garage burglary. 

Heat is on for thief who stole oven 

A burglar who heaved an oven from a home in Banbury is being sought by police.

Thames Valley Police said an oven was stolen from a property in Bloxham Road at some point between 5pm on Thursday and 8.30am on Friday.

Warehouse raiders sought by police

Burglars dropped into an Oxford warehouse via a skylight. 

The raiders entered the building at Howdens Joinery, which is on the Horspath Trading Estate on Pony Road, sometime between 5pm on Thursday and 7am on Friday. 

Entry was gained to the property through a skylight in the roof.
Officers have searched the warehouse and were unable to find any signs that anything was stolen.
