RESIDENTS in Oxford and Abingdon have one last chance today to vote in this year's MP of the Year Awards.
Oxford West and Abingdon's Liberal Democrat member Layla Moran is the only one of Oxfordshire's five MPs to have made the 2018 shortlist.
The awards are sponsored by financial services giant KPMG and winners will be announced in a ceremony at Westminster on December 5 hosted by controversial Speaker of the House of Commons John Bercow.
Among the competition this year is Secretary of State for Transport Chris Grayling – who recently suggested rail unions were to blame for fare hikes; failed Labour leader Ed Milliband and Lib Dem leader Vince Cable – who was this weekend rumoured to be stepping down from the top job.
Last year's MP of the Year was Labour member for Brent Central Dawn Butler.
