OXFORD MAGISTRATES’

STEPHEN WATERS, 33, of Orchard Mews, Didcot, admitted stealing a bottle of wine valued at £4.78 from Asda, Didcot, on March 6 as well as failing to surrender to custody and breaching a previously imposed conditional discharge. He was fined a total of £50 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30.

JASON FLETCHER, 33, of High Street, Milton, Abingdon, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on June 29 at Milton Road, Abingdon, and driving without third party insurance. Had 57 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. He was fined £450 and must pay a victim surcharge of £45 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 16 months.

LEE HEDLEY JONES, 38, of Heather Road, Milton, admitted breaching a restraining order by attending a prohibited address on July 15. He was fined £110 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30.

MATTHEW JUSTICE, 36, of Sturges Close, Headington, admitted harassment without violence of a woman between July 7 and 15 at Headington, Oxford. He was made subject to a restraining order and fined £350 and must pay a victim surcharge of £35 and court costs of £85.

DAVID SEAGER, 43, of no fixed address, admitted stealing sight bottle of Margaux wine worth £200 from Marks & Spencer at Oxford Railway Station on July 26. Conditionally discharged for six months, must pay £100 compensation.

JOHN HARDWICK, 57, of no fixed address, admitted using threatening or abusive words and behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress and possessing a kitchen knife in Oxford city centre on June 14. Conditionally discharged for two years, must pay £100 compensation and £300 court costs.

MARIA MAVROIDIS, 32, of Freelands Road, Oxford, was convicted of speeding at 43mph in a 30mph zone in Banbury Road, Oxford on December 22. Fined £220, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Three penalty points.

GRACINDA NEVES, 28, of Cricket Road, Oxford, was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver suspected of committing an offence between January 12 and February 2. Fined £660, must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85. Six penalty points.

JOSEPH WINTERBURN, 26, of Angus Court, Thame was convicted of speeding at 53mph in a 30mph zone in Beggarsbush Hill, Benson on January 3. Fined £460, must pay a victim surcahrge of £46 and court costs of £85. Six penalty points.

LEE DAVID REDHEAD, 41, of Brendon Close, Didcot admitted assaulting a man by beating him in Didcot on March 4. Must pay compensation of £814 and court costs of £85.

TOMAS RYSAKOVAS, 35, of Rose Hill, Oxford admitted drink-driving in Rahere Road, Oxford on June 12. Had 111mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcg. Must carry out 180 hours of unpaid work in 12 months, must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for 44 months.

ANN MARIE ROONEY, 32, of Field Avenue, Blackbird Leys, admitted stealing perfume worth £309.95 from TK Maxx in Templars Shopping Park on December 7. Must attend rehab for 15 days, pay a victim surcharge of £85.

CHARLOTTE BEDFORD, 39, of Kyle Court, Oxford was convicted of entering a premises in contravention of a closure order in Priory Road, Littlemore on November 6. Fined £100, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

DARREN DAVID EVANS, 41, of no fixed address, admitted assaulting a man by beating him in Manorsfield Road, Bicester on June 24 and assaulting a constable in the execution of her duty in Banbury Police Station on June 24. Also admitted breaking a criminal behaviour order by being drunk in a public place in Bicester on June 24 and assaulting a police officer in the execution of her duty in Causeway, Bicester on June 24. Jailed for 18 weeks, must pay compensation of £150.

ZOE-MARIE MERRILL, 35, for Pauling Road, Headington admitted being the parent of a child and knowing he was not regularly attending school. Fined £120, must pay a victim surcharge of £30.

BANBURY MAGISTRATES’

SCOTT FRIDAY, 22, of Broome Way, Banbury, admitted failing to comply with the notification requirements of the sex offenders register on June 30 at Banbury. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85.

LEANNE HURT, 29, of Queens Road, Carterton, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on April 9 at Alvescot and causing criminal damage to a glass picture frame at the John Radcliffe Hospital valued at £40 on April 10. Had 141 mlg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood. She was fined £120 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30, court costs of £85 and compensation of £40 and was disqualified from driving for 18 months.

AMY CLARE, 25, of Bertie Place, Oxford, admitted arson by destroying by fire clothing and a lamb soft toy on July 29 at Bertie Place, Oxford. She was made subject to a community order to include a rehabilitation activity requirement for 30 days and must pay a victim surcharge of £85.

JIM MCPARTLIN, 39, of Collier Crescent, Witney, was convicted of assaulting a woman at Carterton on February 7 and causing criminal damage on February 21 at Carterton by damaging a bathroom door valued at £250. He was fined £500 and must pay a victim surcharge of £50, court costs of £775 and compensation of £250.

GEOFFREY BAKER, 53, of Cranley Road, Oxford, admitted failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver on November 8 at Banbury. He was fined £500 and must pay a victim surcharge of £50 and court costs of £50 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
