PLANS to demolish a building on the corner of Oxford's Cornmarket Street to create a new 'market quarter' have been approved.
The redevelopment of Northgate House will now go ahead, with a large tower replacing the existing building near the Covered Market on Market Street.
The intention is to design a number of smaller units to create a market-type environment.
Jesus College, which is behind the plans, says it will also help reinvigorate the nearby Covered Market.
But how will it look? See the 'before and after' image from the back on Market Street and frontage on Cornmarket Street
