A large sign over the exit to Oxford railway station tells passengers that the coach service to Cambridge leaves from bay R5 outside. It does not. Stagecoach X5 coaches now depart from Gloucester Green - a fact clearly unknown to the two bus drivers we asked about it last Sunday. After ten minutes waiting at R5 for the 9.05am coach, we were alerted to the alteration by the driver of a John Radcliffe Hospital bus that pulled into the same bay. We leapt into a cab and made it to Gloucester Green with seconds in hand and £5 out of pocket. First Great Western, which runs the station, should stop giving information that's been out of date since April.
