POLICE have renewed appeals for help in tracing a Wallingford woman who is partially paralysed and has been missing for a week.

Claire Simms, 31, had been staying at The George Hotel in the town and had not been seen there since August 20. She was reported missing by staff on Friday, August 24.

Insp Darren Carver said: "Claire has now been missing for a significant amount of time and her family, friends and the police are concerned about her welfare.

"I urge her to get in touch and let us know that she is okay."

She is white, 5ft7ins tall, with mousy curly hair and has paralysis to her left-side which causes her to walk with a limp.
