Motorist Tim Brady has admitted driving at 172mph on the A420 near Kingston Bagpuize.
Brady, 33, from Harrow, Middlesex, was caught on January 27 this year.
At Oxford Crown Court today, he pleaded guilty to dangerous driving.
Brady will be sentenced next month.
