Three teenagers have been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Blackbird Leys, Oxford.
Police were called to Willow Way at 7pm yesterday, following reports that a man had been stabbed repeatedly.
The victim, a 38-year-old man who has not be named, was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with stab wounds to his back.
He remains in a serious but stable condition.
Three boys, aged 13, 15 and 16, were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
The 13-year-old was bailed to return to Oxford police station later today.
Another boy, 17, was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer and for possession of an offensive weapon.
He has been released on police bail pending further inquiries until September 3.
