A POLICE station has had to close its front desk three days this week.

Bicester Police Station announced on Twitter today that its counter would not be open all day, due to 'resourcing issues'.

It apologised for any convenience caused and directed people to Banbury, Kidlington or St Aldates police stations instead.

Opening times listed for the station on Thames Valley Police's website confirmed the closure today, but also listed two other dates for closure this week - Monday [August 6], and Friday [August 10].

The station in Queens Avenue is usually open from 10am until 6pm on weekdays.
