A 30-year-old man has been arrested after a home in Oxfordshire was intentionally set on fire.
The property in Abbey Road, Banbury was empty at the time and the fire fortunately did not spread.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which occurred between 12am and 1am on Sunday, July 22.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Rachel Edmunds, of CID at Banbury police station said: "We are appealing for anyone who may have seen or heard anything at around this time.
"Thankfully no one was inside the property at the time of the fire."
The 30-year-old has been released under investigation.
