A TEENAGER has been charged with shoplifting and using threatening behaviour at two Oxford jewellers.

The 16-year-old boy from London is accused of stealing from two branches of Goldsmiths in the city centre.

A branch in the Westgate Centre was targeted at 4.40pm on Saturday. Police have not revealed what was stolen. Then, just 20 minutes later, two Tag Heuer watches worth thousands were stolen from the second shop in the Clarendon Centre.

The boy has been bailed and will appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on August 28.
