A SOUTH Oxfordshire school is appealing to local businesses and individuals to help their students.

Wallingford School is hoping to form links with people in the area who can provide insight into small or medium business.

The school wants local enterprises to support and develop their business students.

Though open to new ideas, the school says it would most like help with 'visits to the school to share your experiences with the young people'; 'hosting some school visits to your workplace'; and 'helping to judge the school’s enterprise competitions'.

A spokesperson added: "If you have any other ideas or are keen to be involved but are not sure how, the school would love to hear from you all."

The school wants students to go out into the business community early on in the new academic year, which starts in September.

A brief online survey for anyone who is interested in being involved is available at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/PJPSSMS

Wallingford School is part of the Merchant Taylors’ Oxfordshire Academy Trust, along with Brightwell cum Sotwell Church of England Primary School, just a few miles away from the Wallingford secondary.
