A MAN who wolf-whistled at a 13-year-old girl before sexually assaulting her is wanted by police.
The man walked towards the girl in Goggs Lane, in Bloxham near Banbury, at about 6pm on Friday.
He whistled at the teenager then, as he passed her, touched her inappropriately.
She challenged him on his behaviour, prompting him to run away.
The suspect was wearing a black rain coat with a hood over his face and black jeans.
Investigating officer PC Paul Townley, based at Banbury police station, said: "I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident, or who has any information relating to it.
"If you saw a man matching this description or if you have any details which you think could help our investigation, please call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number on 101, quoting reference 43180214135."
