FREE roast dinners are being handed out to military personnel to say thanks on Armed Forces Day.

Toby Carvery is inviting serving troops, reserves, veterans and cadets to tuck in to either a cavery meal or breakfast for free.

The offer, for June 30 only, hopes to thank our country's heroes for everything they do on the national day of celebration for our armed forces.

Toby Carvery brand operations director Martin Gosling said: "This is the third year we’ve gifted free meals on Armed Forces Day, and each year we are overwhelmed by the response.

Oxford Mail:

"For Toby Carvery having the opportunity to thank our heroes is so important to us.

"Our partnership with The Royal British Legion means we can continue to support the armed forces throughout the year, recognising all that they do for the country at home and abroad."

The company has added a jam and coconut sponge pudding to its menu and 25p is donated to The Royal British Legion for every sale.

To claim the free meal, military personnel need to download a voucher from tobycavery.co.uk/armed-forces and show their military ID or veteran's card to staff.
