GLORIOUS sunshine, music and beer ensured the Jericho Street Fair was once again a roaring success yesterday.
Canal Street was closed on Saturday for an array of market stalls and The Old Bookbinders served from bar outside and had a barbecue while live music played from the stage on the road.
Landlord Josh Mullet-Sadones said: "It was a wonderful day - the sun came out just as people started arriving, I think it's only rained three times in the fair's 31-year history.
"It's a real community event and we love this community and being part of it."
The event was organised by Jericho Community Association, who this year offered discounted stalls to non-profit organisations and local residents.
Jericho Community Association treasurer, Peter Stalker, said: "The Jericho Street Fair is in the genes of Jericho people now - it's a great event every year.
"Even when the weather is bad people out and have a good time and the weather this year has been great."
