A WOMAN who pretended to be a doctor at last year's Blenheim Horse Trials before injecting a 'patient' has been given a date for her sentencing.
Cassandra Grant, of Mulberry Walk in Bristol, admitted one count of fraud by false representation and one count of common assault on February 12.
The 38-year old spoke only to confirm her name as she appeared again at Oxford Crown Court this morning ahead of her sentencing date.
The charges are in connection with an incident at last year's event at the historic palace grounds, which were held in September.
At an earlier hearing prosecutors said that Grant had claimed to be a medical professional at the trials before administering an intravenous injection of an anti-sickness drug to a patient.
Judge Ian Pringle QC ordered that a pre-sentence report be prepared ahead of her sentencing at today's hearing.
She will be sentenced at the same court on July 19 and was released on police bail.
