A PUBLIC meeting will be held on plans for a new secondary school in Marston.

The public meeting will be held at Mortimer Hall, Marston, on Monday between 5:45pm until 7:15pm and will give local residents the chance to view and make comments on the plans for the new Swan School.

Plans were submitted to Oxford City Council to build the 1,260-pupil free school, on the site of the current Harlow Centre in Marston, earlier this month.

The secondary school with sixth form is due to open in temporary buildings in September 2019, and aims to tackle a 'school place crisis' in the city according to planners.

Residents have been outspoken in the past about traffic concerns for the area.
