A CHILD and a driver were lucky not to suffer serious injuries after the car they were in hit a lamppost yesterday.
They were near Langford Village at about 2pm yesterday.
Firefighters from Bicester and Buckingham attended to them following the accident.
On its Facebook page, the Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Fortunately both the occupants including a small child were correctly wearing seatbelts and had a properly sized child seat which protected them from any significant injuries, including when the airbags activated as part of the collision.
“Both Thames Valley Police and South Central Ambulance Service attended the Incident, as well as two passing motorists who provided assistance and shelter.”
More to follow.
