TRIBUTES will be paid and a minute's silence observed in memory of former Lord Mayor Pat Stannard when Oxford City Council meets on Monday.
The long-serving member of Blackbird Leys Parish Council died last month aged 79.
Mr Stannard was on the parish council for 15 years and served as the city's Lord Mayor between 2003 and 2004.
Monday's meeting of Oxford City Council will begin at 5pm with tributes to him from other councillors and a minute's silence.
His funeral will also take place on Monday at midday at Oxford Crematorium.
