FLOODING proved no match for some villagers as they took to boats to bypass the problems posed by high river levels across the county.
Many parts of Oxfordshire remain under flood alert as levels on the River Thames start to stabilise.
But the Environment Agency (EA) is still warning people in the county to be wary of flooding.
Villagers in Islip, however, appeared unfazed at boat rides were being given out along Lower Street.
Elsewhere, John Escobar sent drone footage of people wading through floodwaters on a Marston path near Edgeway Road on Thursday.
Several alerts are still in effect in Oxfordshire with warnings around the River Thames in Oxford and Abingdon and the River Evenlode and River Windrush in West Oxfordshire.
An EA spokesman said: “Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings, flood waters may be deep and fast flowing.
“Please refer to river levels on the internet for current river levels. This message will be updated each morning.”
