Hinksey Park Simming Pool was closed today after vandals poured purple dye into the water.
Several families turned up to find the pool gates shut on what was expected to be one of the hottest days of the year.
Pool staff were unable to say when the facility, off Abingdon Road, would be open again or the extent of the damage.
