CHILDREN and adults let down their hair for a special performance of ‘Rapunzel, a tangled pantomime’ to raise money for the village hall.
The show by villagers in Chesterton, near Bicester, was a hit and managed to raise £1,900.
Youngster Will Rotherham, 10, said: “It was amazing and I loved being a soldier.”
His co-star Chris Meek, 9, also added he loved being in the panto and having a speaking part.
The pantomime was started by parents as a way to boost school funds and money goes towards equipment such as interactive classroom boards and school trips.
