ALL Toys R Us stores are set to close within six weeks after the troubled retailer failed to find a buyer.

Administrators Moorfields is about to begin a six week 'wind down' of the toy giant, which has a store in Oxford's Botley Road.

Staff were told earlier that a last-minute attempt to rescue the chain had failed after no buyers came forward.

A huge closing down sale has now been launched to shift the remaining stock.

Discounts of up to 40 per cent are on offer on toys and games.

Up to 3,000 jobs are at risk across 106 UK stores.
