DOZENS of knives, including several ornamental daggers, were handed in during a knife amnesty in Banbury.
Police stations across the county ran the amnesty last month as part of the national Operation Sceptre.
Around 28 knives were collected anonymously in Banbury whilst 45 knives were put in the red bins in Abingdon.
The crack-down was launched after an increase in knife crime with national figures showing offences are at the highest level this decade.
