OXFORDSHIRE’S first ever festival inspired by violas will be hosted in Witney.
Hilltop Garden Store, Witney Road, will be displaying more than 100 varieties of the plant from Friday until the following weekend.
After years of cultivation, the flowers are now offered in a wide variety of colours, patterns and petal forms. The plant can also be used to decorate salads, cakes and ice cubes.
Store manager Vicky Block said staff hope to make an become an annual event.
