CARS built in Cowley 'returned home' before driving in convoy to the house of the man who started motor manufacturing in the city.
A dozen vehicles, spanning several decades of history, made the short trip from the Mini plant to Nuffield Place, home of Morris Motor Company founder William Morris.
The annual event celebrated the opening of the house, now a National Trust property, for the season.
Enthusiasts came from as far away as Teesside to take part.
Tanya Field, who organised the convoy, said: "Lord Nuffield did such a lot for this city.
"He was like the Bill Gates of his age and his legacy is everywhere.
"It is such an important part of our history and it is nice to keep the link between the factory and home going."
