A 92-year-old man knocked down and seriously injured by a reversing lorry in Abingdon remains in a "very poorly" condition in hospital, say police.
The man from Abingdon is in the intensive care unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford where he was taken after the accident in Stert Street on Monday morning.
It was feared that one of the man's arms had been severed but although badly crushed surgeons managed to save the limb.
Police say the lorry driver was questioned but not arrested after the incident in Stert Street near the entrance to the multi-storey car park. The driver will be questioned again at a later date after witnesses to the accident have been interviewed for statements.
