THREE of the runaway detainees from Campsfield House were recaptured today.
Officers launched a nationwide search after 14 detainees went missing from the detention centre near Kidlington on Saturday.
Today, three of the men have been found after almost three days on the run.
Lin Homer, chief executive of the Border and Immigration Agency, said: "A further three have now been recaptured and we are continuing to work intensively to pursue the remainder."
One of 12 men who escaped the detention centre but found by police within hours on Saturday has been deported, Ms Homer added.
