GAVIN Bristow scored two wins in the Mini Challenge at Donington Park.

Bristow, competing for the Oxford Associates Race Team made up of workers from Mini plant at Cowley, set some blistering times in Thursday's practice sessions and topped the timsesheets in the Associates Cooper S Works in qualifying.

His pole position for the first race on Sunday was reinforced by a third position on the grid for the longer second race, provided by his second fastest time during qualifying.

A good start in the first race saw him lead from start to the finish. In the second race, Bristow fought off a tough challenge from Oli Mortimer and Jake Packun to take victory.

After their most successful weekend of the season, the team are looking forward to the next race weekend at the northern Croft Circuit.
