FILM star Hugh Grant is coming to the city for a show in which he talks about his life, career and battles with the national press.
The Hollywood actor, who has become a leading figure in the ‘Hacked Off’ campaign for tougher press regulations, will be on stage at the Oxford Playhouse on Sunday, March 4.
Grant was a student at New College, Oxford, more than 30 years ago and was reported to have been a member of the notorious Piers Gaveston Society dining club.
During a visit to the college last year Grant joined current students in the bar, where he was filmed 'doing a shoe'.
The star necked ale from a shoe to the great delight of those watching.
