SINGER Michael Bolton has had to cancel this week's Oxford show 'because of technical reasons'.
The American singer songwriter had been due to appear at the New Theatre on Friday.
But ticket holders have been left disappointed and the producers of the 'Evening with Michael Bolton' show said they 'truly regret' having to cancel.
Producers did not expand on what the technical reasons are but offered apologies to ticket holders.
A statement said: "Kong Events extends their sincerest apologies to Michael Bolton fans who have already purchased tickets to 'An Audience With Michael Bolton - My Life Story' in Oxford, scheduled on Friday 9th February 2018.
"Due to technical issues delaying production we have had to regrettably cancel this event.
"However we have been able to secure a date at the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre on Friday 16th November 2018, so we will happily move your ticket over to this new date or we will provide you with a full refund.
"Kong Events sincerely apologises and truly regrets any inconvenience this may have caused you.
"You shall be contacted by your point of purchase as soon as possible, who will be able to either move your ticket to the new date or they shall provide you with a full refund."
Bolton has sold 75 million records worldwide and had two number one albums.
The evening was a chance for fans to hear about the highs and lows of his four decade long career.
