A PLAN to sell off a former Jericho council house is set to bring in £1.035m.
The city council has sold off 156 Walton Street for £1.045m.
Fees have cost £10,000 and the council's head of housing services Stephen Clarke said it will be used to buy new homes with at least four bedrooms which will be let out.
He said the need for such homes is unmet by the council currently because there are very few homes left of that size and that people moving out of large family homes is 'exceptionally low'. The plan will be discussed at a council meeting on Tuesday.
