A 'POINTS failure' blocked all lines for trains travelling between Oxford Parkway and Oxford today.
For four hours Chiltern Railways had to stop its services through the city but has said all lines have now reopened.
It originally tweeted about the disruption shortly before 2pm and said it was down to a fault with the signalling system.
The company then updated the post to say a 'points failure' has resulted in all lines between the two stations being closed earlier today.
Chiltern Railways tweeted that despite the lines all being reopen, passengers may still experience delays.
