A YELLOW weather warning for high winds and rain is still in place over Oxfordshire this morning because of Storm Eleanor.
Drivers may well notice the wind on open stretches of road and have been warned about possible flying debris.
A fallen tree has blocked the canal path near the Osney Mead industrial estate.
Power company SSE is not currently reporting any power cuts in Oxfordshire but there are many in neighbouring counties.
On its website the Met Office says: "Storm Eleanor to bring very strong winds on Wednesday.
"Public transport may be disrupted or canceled and some bridges are likely to be closed. Power cuts and disruption to other services (mobile phones for example) may also occur, while injuries from flying debris are possible."
