Marking the 20th anniversary of the Princess's death today, we have gone through our archives to find pictures by our photographers of her many visits to Oxford and other nearby areas.
The photos include Diana in 1994 meeting Oxford East MP Andrew Smith, who was still the area's MP until stepping down this year.
She can also be seen on numerous visits meeting members of public, laughing and sharing jokes.
The archive also reveals a tender moment when two youngsters present the princess with a painting at Oxfam House in February 1990.
