WATER supply has been restored all customers affected by the burst water main that flooded a street in Headington.
A 12 inch water main burst on Marston Road shortly after 3am and left residents without water into the afternoon.
But it was not until almost 2am residents in the OX3 area had their water returned.

The water firm said it had 89 reports from customers without water.
Staff supplied bottles of water in the car park of Marston Ferry Road and at the The Green in Cotswold Crescent.
A bottled water station was set up at St Nicholas First School in Oxford Road for those customers without supplies.

Oxford Brookes University, which has a campus nearby, warned staff to use water sparingly as it had a limited supply.
Thames Water spokesman Lee Irving said: "Water supply returned to normal for all our customers in the OX3 area in the afternoon following the burst pipe.
“We had been in the area all day using tankers to pump water through the system to limit the impact on customers, and have also provided bottled water to those who needed it.
“Marston Road will be partially closed to allow for the full repair to be completed, but we do not expect the water supply to be affected during this work.
“We're sorry for any disruption caused and will get everything back to normal as quickly as possible."
The water pipe burst near the road’s junction with Crotch Crescent and temporary traffic lights were put in place in both directions.
The water firm said water supply was returned to all customers and normal water pressure should be sorted by 7pm.
