A woman was sexually assaulted in Bicester after a man crossed the road to touch her inappropriately, police have said.
The 24-year-old woman was walking along Sheep Street onto London Road when a man crossed the road and approached her before sexually assaulting her and walking off towards the town centre.
Police have today released an E-fit of the offender and appealed for witnesses to come forward.
The incident happened on Monday March 27, at about 9.15pm.
Investigating officer, Police Constable Sam Buzzard said: “We are releasing an e-fit of the offender who is described as Asian or mixed race, in his mid to late twenties, about 5ft 7ins, slim, with marks or spots on his face, dark coloured eyes and dark coloured eyebrows.
“He was wearing a grey beanie hat at the time of the offence.
“This was a frightening experience for the victim so it is vital that anyone with any information contacts the police as soon as possible.”
