POLICE have released CCTV images of a man they want to talk to following two burglaries and car thefts.

Thieves gained entry to a home in Dene Road between 3 and 4am on Friday, February 10, where they stole keys before making off in an Audi Q5.

Then, just over a week later, offenders gained entry to a house in East Field Close, Cowley, again stealing keys and an Audi Q5. The incident took place between 11pm on Saturday, February 18, and 10.45am the following day.

Police released the CCTV images today.

Investigating officer PC Jamie Thornton of Local CID based at St Aldates police station said: "I would like to speak to the man in these CCTV images as I believe that he may have vital information that could help us with our investigation.

"If you recognise the man in the images or have any information please contact myself or PC Hannah Cormack via the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number 101.

"If you don't want to speak directly to police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.

"Please consider keeping car keys away from windows and doors to prevent them from being 'fished' through letterboxes, or seen from outside."
