AND Goldilocks thought she had it tough!

For this year’s Christmas show at Oxford’s Story Museum, Andy Owens is staging a one-man extravaganza entitled Three Bears.

Mr Owens plays Teddy Rochester, who has a collection of stories to share.

He takes is audience on a continent-crossing Christmas cruise, going ‘east of the sun and west of the moon’, via a forest where the Three Bears are having Christmas porridge problems and on to the stars where a couple of furry friends have been twinkling for a long, long time.

He said: “All in all, whether you come as you are or in disguise, you’re sure of a big surprise.

“How can you bear to wait.”

The Story Museum in Pembroke Street also has a feast of other festive fun for visitors in the run-up to Christmas.

On Wednesday it is hosting a day of Christmas courses, creative writing, storytelling and workshops.

Visitors will be able to watch Three Bears then go behind-the-scenes to join a storytelling workshop where they can ‘create their own winter’.
