A MAN has pleaded not guilty to the attempted rape of a girl in Oxford in the 1980s.
Philip Spriggs, 52, was charged by the Thames Valley Police major crime review team and is accused of the attempted rape of a teenager on January 30, 1986.
Spriggs appeared in Oxford Crown Court today and pleaded not guilty.
He is expected to face trial on May 2 and has been remanded in custody.
