A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after an attack which left a man fighting for his life.
The 30-year-old victim is being treated at John Radcliffe and remains in a critical but stable condition.
He was attacked in St Margaret's Road, Adderbury, on Sunday.
Detectives arrested a 32-year-old suspect last night and continue to question him this morning.
